Is Truth Absolute Or Conditional?

Is truth absolute or conditional?

The question posed here is one amongst the most perplexing sets of questions. It has puzzled and continues to puzzle almost every being whose sanity remain somewhat loyal to them. Nevertheless, if anyone goes a little deep in to this matter without any preconceived notions then pearls and corals lying in abundance begin to manifest themselves.

Truth at times is absolute and at times is conditional. Now, at what times it is absolute and at what times it is conditional is a million dollar question.

Truth set by nature is absolutely absolute. The truth here cannot be bended, molded or fabricated and is universal. Truth here is invincible without any impurities. The truth of our death, truth of our ageing, truth of getting ill, truth of our existence and of sky, stars, sun, moon etc etc.

Truth, here is not subjective, instead everything is subjected to it. The nature of fire is to rage upwards and burn. The nature of light is to fight darkness, this is the truth of matter even if all are physically blind.

Hence, our perception based on our five senses just carries no weight here, where truth is directly regulated by nature.

Now, moving onto the truth that can be subjective. Truth here can be molded, folded, fabricated or changed. Truth which is not regulated by nature; cannot be termed as absolute but is conditional. Following illustrations would, indeed assist understanding.

1. Things that are propagated in the name of truth. For example : (a) Successful landing on the moon or mars. (b) Our ancestors were apes. (c) Religion is the root cause of all wars even though it being quite evident that root cause is imperialistic and corrupt mind set of human. (d) Handfuls of fanatics based in Afghanistan destroyed twin towers in New York (e) Iraq having weapons of mass destructions. (f) Water must be consumed every now and then; even when one doesn't feel like consequently, many get hyper-hydrated (some die of it) whilst fearing dehydration etc etc.

2. Things that are assumed to be truth. (a)Two men walked on moon. (b) It was assumed in past that earth is flat, it was assumed that sun is stationary and everything revolves around it etc etc.

 

Every human has his own sets of truth and falsehood influenced by his experiences, knowledge - understanding or lack of it, and culture or custom.

 

Hence, we can conclude in short that everything propagated or assumed in the name of truth cannot be regarded as the absolute truth but is conditional. Moreover, the famous phrase "all that glitter is not gold" is the best phrase that can be used to define truth which is, all that propagated is not truth but at the same time absoluteness of truth cannot be challenged as the existence of gold cannot be challenged.

 

However, truth that is not directly controlled or screened by nature is conquerable and many a time looses against the falsehood.

Now, question may arise as to why Nature or God don't safeguard the truth completely at all time. Answer to it is bit lengthy but in short it is that if truth is safeguarded every moment directly Nature then the purpose of our being free-willed creature would have meant nothing.

 

               Truth however elusive it may be is always desired by every soul for it's absolute (perfect) nature (property). Things, that are not true though we see, hear or feel it in truth is termed as magic and it is discarded by us as nothing but delusion of senses. Thus, indicates very explicitly that we all know very well about truth being absolute and straight forward with no hidden tricks or formulas.

Truth shall remain absolute and eternal; hence is desired by all. Truth without impurities shall win and rule for eternity. Purity is what defines truth thereby making it absolute in every non-evil sense.
