Labradorite: Black Beauty

Labradorite has the mineral name of feldspar and has colors ranging from gray to smoky black. It has a hardness of around 6 to 6.5 on the Moh’s scale. It is commonly found on igneous rocks and is characterized by the brilliant colors of some specimens. This semi-precious stone is typically cut using a flat surface to ensure that the flashes of color would be highlighted. Labradorite is mainly found in Canada, Finland, Ukraine, the USA and Ural mountains.
It has a lot of holistic properties, as it has been known to have healing properties for mental confusion and indecision which allows the wearer of the stone to have self-understanding on a deeper level. It is also believed to strengthen the human immune system.
